NOVEMBER 14, 2016 (Independence, Ohio) – NLC Loans, (NLCLoans.com) a national direct lender of VA, FHA, and conventional loans, has teamed up with Military Makeover in a three-part series airing on Lifetime Television® to give back to a wounded veteran and his family in the renovation of his family’s home in the Miami, Florida area. The show, hosted by US Marine Corps Staff Sergeant R. Lee Ermey, aids and supports military veterans and their families who are in need of improved housing solutions by enlisting the help of decorators, designers, landscapers and other home renovation experts.
Military Makeover identified Billy Phinizy and his family as perfect candidates for the home makeover. Billy returned from Active Duty and spent several months in an inpatient facility for severe PTSD. He was diagnosed with TBI and other health-related issues. Billy is classified as 100% permanently and totally disabled by the VA.
Billy and his wife, Lauren, strive to give their children, Benjamin (7) and Grace (5) the best life possible while teaching them the importance of giving back to Veterans and their families. NLC Loans wanted to be a part of shaping the future for this family by providing guidance and education on veteran’s loans.Â
