Nations Lending Corporation continues it’s efforts to support and recruit veterans
November 10, 2016 (Independence, Ohio) – Nations Lending Corporation, and division, NLC Loans, a national direct lender of VA, FHA and conventional home mortgage loans, have become a Certified Military Talent Employer (CMTE)™ by the non-profit organization, NEOVETS, Inc. Nations Lending Corporation is the 8th company to receive this official certification and honor.
NEOVETS, Inc. is an organization that works to assist employers in connecting with Veterans, Guardsmen, Reservists, and their spouses in finding civilian employment and support in other areas of transition. They assist veterans with transitional education through their unique community college collaboration with Cuyahoga Community College, Lorain County Community College, and Lakeland Community College, and also work with other local entities to assist with world class healthcare and housing access. Many resources and initiatives exist online for Veterans, but they lack the unique, personal attention that a live person can offer. The organization is also cognizant of the fact that the recruitment and retention of veterans in the community is a key component to the revitalization of the region’s economy.
Because of their strict evidence-based application and feedback requirements, there is no other organization like NEOVETS for military veteran jobseekers. With its certification process, NEOVETS ensures that the employer has produced evidence of their commitment to veterans, that it displays genuine interest in training and hiring veterans, and is invested in retaining veterans in the local workforce.
